A 12 oz. Cup of Island Coffee costs the retailer 10 cents
plus 5 cents for the cup and lid and 2 cents for milk and
sugar. That’s 17 cents per cup. The retailer charges
79 cents, that'’ a 62 cent profit from 1 cup. Multiply
62 times 6 and you get #3.72 profit per bag, and that'’
$312.48 per 84 count case.
- Why should I dump out my coffeepots and make fresh
coffee every 30 minutes? 1 bag of coffee costs
63 cents. So all you need to do is sell 1 cup of coffee
per pot to make a profit. By always having fresh delicious
coffee you will increase your volume with repeat customers.
